The Skyline Eco – adventure tour is owned and operated in Maui, Hawaii and in Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. This is a simply amazing adventure tour where you can enjoy and have fun in United States and abroad with the Skyline’s unique blend of “adventure and environmental conciousness to their favourite travel destination”.

The Haleakala Skyline tour is the first zipline adventure tour in the United States. This is located on the slopes of the world famous Haleakala volcano in Maui. The Haleakala National Park is just a few minutes away. The adventure consists of “five picturesque zipline crossings and an Indiana Jones style swinging bridge through a towering forest in upcountry Maui”. After this adventurous crossing, then the tourists are taken for a fascinating excursion which is about an hour away from Maui’s South Shore where the most famous resorts of Kihei, Wailea, and Makena are located.

Mike, a tourist from California says, “ Unreal fun. Zipping was way more fun than I thought it would be. The last line up at Haleakala is ridiculously fun. I can’t believe how fast we went. I wanted to do it again right then and there. I guess it will have to wait until we get back to Maui”.

The Kaanapali Skyline Adventure is just about some kilometers away from the famous Kaanapali resort. The tourists are taken to the Kaanapali retail store and then from there taken to the rugged valleys of Mount Kahalawai, which is also known as the West Maui mountains through the most exciting Skyline’s off-road vehicles. From here, the tourists can enjoy the enchanting view of the West Maui mountains, Molokai, Lanai and the Pacific Ocean. After this, the tourists are taken high above the mountain stream and then onto Hawaii! A delicious breakfast and lunch is served after that, while sitting on an edge of 1000 ft. on a valley overlook. Get to experience the historic Lanai town on the trip followed by some more adventurous ziplines.

Joanna from Ohio says, “ Wow, what fun and excitement! The views from your course were beautiful and the food was great too. I have always wondered what it looked like from above Lahaina. Thank you for a great new Maui experience”.

The Skyline adventure in Dollywood at Pigeon Forge in Tennessee, is the ever first zipline attraction in any theme park in the United States. This is simply a spectacular and an amazing skyline eco- adventure which takes you over the valleys and the forests of a “legendary mountain range”. This tour includes five zipline crossings through the Smoky Mountains and get to know more about the natural heritage of the place and the amazing wildlife in the area. The Skyzip at Dollywood is a 100 ft. long suspension bridge through the trees. This thrilling adventure ride is just a few minutes away from Gatlinburg, which is known as the Gateway to the Smoky Mountains.

The Skyline Zipline Eco- Adventure is the most thrilling and the most latest version of trailing and having fun. This tour can be serious fun if you are up for it.

Fire Island is an extensive mind-blowing beach located in New York City. Standing as a barrier of the Long island, it remains as a part of the National Seashore. I found this magical beach as blazing as its name, its environment refreshes and fills the calmness and serenity into an apprehensive living being. The island serves as a safe haven to the distinct creature sea gulls which turn this fun place and your eyes perpetually demand its soothing sight.

Fire Island is unstoppably taken care of due to the ongoing conservation program that is meant to preserve the diverse plants and animals. They want to secure these creatures from being extinct and also desire to let the sea waters remain immaculate. The inhabitants over here voluntarily participated in the “Beach renourishment project” an initiative in which contributed the National Park Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Towns of Brookhaven and Islip. The initiatives held in the winter and spring of 2009 involved scouring sand from an offshore area and pumping it onto the beach and layering the sand in such a way that it resembles a beach.

Because of this ongoing project, many restrictions like walking out of the public access is forbidden to the tourists, the motto behind this is to conserve the eco system. So, if you visit there, it’s my humble request not to perform any such activities that will lead to demolishment of this marvelous natural creation.

This will subsequently result to your own benefit, consequently by being a serene and tranquil location, away from the hustle and bustle of the fast-pacer life. So, anyone seeking a calm destination and desiring to explore some of the amazing natural wonders, this place is a must visit for those. Voyaging this location, will blatantly make you contribute in a noble cause of maintaining eco-friendly place. It offers chance of exploring Fire Island by the adventurous way of water taxis which takes you to each and every section of this location. These are obviously not that cheap, but its fare depends upon how far you choose to go.

While entering the Fire Island, you will find the wooden walkways that are actually spread out for nurturing the environment. These thin wooden planks protect the sand dunes. This island shelters lots of birds’ nests, but they are not perceptible because the tall grasses hides them from getting a conspicuous view. And if you want to peek-a-boo and cull more insights, move to the Robert Moses State Park, here you will get to discover the ecological balance of the Fire Island. Over here, you can access through cars via the Robert Moses Causeway. There is another tiny settlement nearby the Fire Island which is popularly known as Cherry Grove, isn’t the name amazing? Atleast that is what I found. This place is quite famous for its magnificent art galleries.

Another part of this island is a National Park which regularly held some programs that highlight the environmental issues. So, visiting this national park will provide you a blend of information and environment i.e. infotainment. Also, there is the Otis Pike Fire Island High Dune wilderness which is the only conserved wilderness in the whole of New York. One can enjoy the wilderness of nature while staying in camps, but before camping you have to take permission at the Watch Hill Visitor Center. But the best time to camp over here is between late fall and early spring. So experience the uniqueness and purity of this special place.

Mauritius, truly a destination of dreams, is an exotic location. It encompasses of the most spectacular natural beauties like the turquoise sea and swaying palm trees. It offers loveliest collection to the nature-lovers like the indigenous and exotic plants. The giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies and the diverse species of palm trees are a splendid gift to the tourists. The inhabitants with their lovely smiles provide an enchanting retreat and leave an immortal impression on the minds of the tourists. The friendly-environment with a blend of tranquility and calmness pleases everyone alike.

It has to offer loads and loads of unexplored natural beauties, with the undulating mountains, calm blue shores and the wide ranging species of flowers. Other than that, there are some of the most amazing and antique places which comprises of innate beauty.

There is an extensive 60 acre garden which flaunts 500 distinct species of plants, of which 80 are palms. Among them, the one which are the striking part are spice garden and the Talipot palms said to flower every 60 years after which they die. This region is gifted with an amazing collection of flora and fauna. The deers and tortoise are sure to lure the visitors. The historical locations like the old French mansion, Château Mon Plaisir, and an old sugar mill possesses some of the most antique collection that reflects the Mauritius’ rich historical past. Surely, these are some of the descriptions from Mauritius that will tempt you to explore this place.

But to the question that is Mauritius really an environment-friendly holiday destination? The answer is no. There are many other countries in the world that are declared to be polluted on the debatable issue of bio-green and Mauritius is a part of it. The Ferney road development project is the first one to be swept by this new wave and has been sent back to the board. From raw sewage and pesticides in waterways, to loud music from nightclubs, all these issues have been discussed many-a-times but very little is actually done to turn these promises of eco-friendly environment into reality. The Ministry of environment boasts itself to be taking up eco-friendly measures to attain the highest level of environmental quality as a means to enhance the quality of life of Mauritians and preserve the natural environment. But these talks apparently seem to be building castles in the air because very little efforts have been done to make this happen.

The government now needs to wake up from a long sleep and wobble itself to shoulder its responsibility. Sugar cane is the one that supports for the living of the inhabitants and on the contrary, acts as fuel to the fire by contributing as one of the most inconvenient factors for escalating the debatable issue of environmental pollution. The important aspects of life i.e. time and money can be saved by putting fire to the crop but its consequences brings along a multitude of injustice to people living around or near the fields on fire. As a result, those ashes that are produced from the burning leaves are windswept miles away from the fields, only to end up in places where we go to get some calm and tranquility.
