Sydney is an important international tourist destination. Tourism in Sydney forms an essential part of the city’s economy. There are some interesting places to visit in Sydney. The most famous tourist sights are the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Sydney has accounted for 22.6 million domestic and 2.7 million international tourists (as per the year ending 2009)!

Apart from these there are places like the Royal Botanical Gardens, Luna Park, the beaches, and the Sydney Tower.

Sydney Opera House is an epitome of one of the most distinctive and well known 20th century buildings. It is also known as one of the most famous performing arts venue in the world. It is situated on the Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour and equally close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The building and its nearby surroundings form an iconic Australian image. The Sydney 2000 Olympics began at the Opera House! Great musical and dramas are performed at the Sydney Opera House and it also trademarks as an international piece of wonder!

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is on the main crossing of the Sydney Harbour which carries rail, vehicular and pedestrian traffic between Sydney Central Business District and the North Shore. The Sydney Opera House with the dramatic water vista of the bridge marks an iconic image of both Sydney and Australia.

The shores of the Sydney Harbour are a home to a number of historic forts and bunkers. They form to be a part of the Sydney Harbour Defence System, which was designed to withstand a seaborne attack! The forts were constructed of large sandstone blocks and consist of many tunnels, underground rooms, and catacombs.

Watsons Bay is on the end of the South Head peninsula and it provides an amazing view across the harbour to the city of Sydney and the Harbour Bridge. It is an excellent sheltered bay and anchorage on its western side of Port Jackson, from where it has derived its name.

The Rocks is a suburb, an inner city in Sydney, which is a great tourist place. This is also a very famous place for people who are visiting Sydney. There are themed and historic pubs in the area and is a great place to be in! The Rock Market operates each weekend with almost 100 stalls, and there are a number of Souvenir and Crafts shop. When you visit the place, you are instantly reminded of the movie, The Rock!

The Sydney Tower is on of the tallest free standing structure in Sydney and the second tallest building in Australia. It is also ranked as the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere. Also famous in the same area, is the Sydney Tower Skywalk or just the Skywalk. It is an open air, glass floored platform which circles the Sydney Tower at a height 260m above ground level. The Blue Mountains can be seen at a distance from the Skywalk!

Other than these places, there are many tourist destinations in Sydney that you must visit. The King’s Cross, Darling Harbour, New South Wales, Tumbalong Park, Australian National Maritime Museum, Star City Casino, Sydney Aquarium, and the Wildlife World.

After traveling by a bus for 12 hours, I finally reached to Melbourne. As I stepped out of the bus, I first started to search a good hotel, nearby the station. Though it was getting dark, I finally settled for the All Nation hostel that was just 2 minutes distance from the station. There I got reasonable room for 21 dollars per night. I had to share my room with four other people. The room was fine. It had a bathroom, and four bunk beds. The top bunk only vacant so I took, below me was Fran. As I got up the bunk, it started to wobble but Fran looked pretty cool about it. Having banged my head all the way here to the bus window, every time I used to doze off, the traveling really made me tried and my head swell! So after investigating the entire room, I went to sleep.

Next day started off good, as I had to meet Jenny at St Spencer. I reached there on time, but she was late as she misunderstood St Spencer to Flinders St Station. I didn’t had any choice but to wait, so to pass the time, I started to wander here and there, walked around huge metal Christmas tree, just across the street. She finally arrived after two hours. Waiting was not at all bad, but boring! After spending whole day talking and roaming the city, I spend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday too, in same way exploring the city with Jenny. The city looked pretty cleaned and nice to me. But because of the traffic, we had to always walk. The traffic was horrible but had fun pushing people out of way.

To reach Central Business District, downtown was never a problem for me as I used to catch free tram that passed by my hostel. So wherever I needed to go, I would take this tram. I liked the parks and gardens around here; they are so clean and green. The Treasury Gardens, next to the Parliament, are great to pass time. I spend my morning, lying down under a tree, watching the historic architectural building of Parliament and birds around! It was actually relaxing. I don’t remember where I ate sushi, it was really tasty! I might I had had sushi at somewhere around a movie theater. I know there are so many movie theaters, but sorry guys, I couldn’t recall it.

Do you know what is the strangest thing in this city – it is the pay phones! The phone cost $0.40 for a call and it is timed. But when the time is up, it just disconnects abruptly. It is so frustrating when you are on a call, and it gets disconnected without warning. It happened three or four times while talking to Jenny… I hate these pay phones!

Done roaming within the city, Jenny and me got out of the city and headed towards the Great Ocean Road. It is situated 100 kilometers south-west to the Melbourne. The place was so beautiful and mesmerizing. The Bells beach was our first stop. Everything about that place – rocks and waves – was fantastic!! Thank god I had my bathing suits, without waiting any longer, I took off my clothes and was about to dive into the water and stopped! The water was freaking cold! So I end up walking along the shoreline. Though, it was fun! And for night, we decided to spend it at nearby camping site in swag. It was cool and reasonable actually. To sleeping, there provided sleeping bags made up of canvas so it does not get wet. There I even tasted a kangaroo’s steak, killed by the same guys who were cooking it. The steak tasted as any steak. I don’t know why, I liked it! In night, it started raining there and temperature also dropped. It was very cold and you could hear the raindrops so clearly. I don’t know about other people, but I slept like a baby in that sleeping bag. Just one thing was circling in my mind, I should not get wet!

Next day we headed to Grampian Mountain range through Warrambool to the north. The Grampians Mountain is primarily made of sandstones and is a tourist’s destination. It gets the actual shape of a sequence of low-angled sandstone crests, running from the east to the north south. The sedimentary crests in the area have deformed in the western areas; it presents a vertical but impressive view of the sandstones ridges from the northern tip. There is stayed at the Halls Gap in Banffish town. At campground was filled with many kangaroos. We even fed them bread, we were not supposed to, but this was the only way to see them face to face. The entire hour was fun! At night, we went to this little restaurant and they were such money suckers! Just for having a ketchup packet, they charged us $0.25. Can you imagine – $0.25 for a small ketchup packet! Jesus! That night in Halls Gap we came to know the water is not good to drink. Later, jenny and I decided to make regular tea – usually made during camping – to save money, Jenny asked the hotel staff; the staffs were fine about us making the tea. So that was quite ok, as they did not have drinking water.

Next day we got up early and went for trekking on the mountain of Pinnacle. The trek was of two and a half hour. It was very adventurous, as we had to actually jump from rock to rock in order to reach our destination. When we reached up, we all were huffing and puffing. After catching our breath and seeing the view at such a top of the mountain, we got charged up. Clicked many photos with weird poses and left after an hour. While coming down it was scarier as I slipped many a times on rocks and somehow maintained my balanced. I even rolled my ankle. After reaching down, Jenny turned to me searching her pant’s pockets and said in tensed voice, “Oh my god, I forgot car keys up there”, pointing to the mountain, “we have to go up again and get it.” I was like hell no! My ankle was paining badly and thinking of going up again and coming down it really pissed me off. Suddenly smile came on Jenny’s face, which showed me that she lied. Still I was mad on her and didn’t talk to her all way to the hotel.

How can I stay without talking to Jenny anyways!

Had fun exploring the Victoria region and the picturesque beach, trekking on the mountain, sleeping in swag and eating kangaroo steak, everything was exciting and new experience for me. There is more to explore in and out Melbourne. Till then wait for my next article.

Eiffel tower in Paris, Statue of Liberty in New York, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge and London’s Tower Bridge are few famous and iconic bridges and towers of their country. Same as the other structures in different countries, the Sydney Harbor Bridge is loved by its fellow citizens and most visited site of tourists. Just like other iconic structures, the Sydney Bridge has an impressive history. It’s a man-made bridge whose construction work started after 1924 and took eight years to complete. The bridge was inaugurated in 1932. It got its nickname as ‘Coathanger’ because of its arch-based design.

Being the Australia’s most loved and photographed landmark, it’s also the world’s widest steel arch bridge which is one hundred and thirty-four meters above the harbor. Being officially opened in 1932, the bridge celebrated its seventy-eighth birthday in 2009.

In 1915, Francis Greenway proposed to build a bridge across the harbor shores. But the work of designing on paper was delayed till 1900. However after World War One, the work again started and rough design was made by Dr J.J.C Bradfield and other officers of NSW department of Public Works. Later the New South Wales Government invited many international contract tenders but it was given to English company known as Dorman Long and Co of Middlesbrough. Finally, in the year 1924 the work started with one thousand four hundred men and at cost of four point two millions pounds.

Now the bridge has eight traffic lanes, two rail lines, and a pedestrian lane. The bridge gives stunning three sixty-degree views such as Sydney, including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbor city surrounds from the Plymouth Lookout. The night view of the bridge is magnificent. During festivals, the bridge is the center of attraction where beautiful fireworks take place and the whole bridge comes alive! And if you want some adventure try bridge climbing, it’s just thrilling and fantastic! In 1998, Bridge Climb got started where more and more tourists got. These tourists are thrill-seekers and want something to remember forever about Sydney. The walk against force of wind to the top of the fifty storeys high is a heart-pumping experience! The whole experience will leave you mesmerizing! The climbing tour is organized tour by group of climbers. You can go for night climb too on the bridge.

At the foot of the bridge is situated a small historical town known as Rocks. It is recognized as birthplace of Sydney. In 1788 the colony of Rocks was formed. It got its name as Rocks because of most of the buildings are made up of local sandstones. Initially it was a slum area mostly visited by sailors and prostitutes. Later in 1800, it was dominated by a gang till 1870’s. Now you will find there many cafes, restaurants and hotels and old pubs. Among the area, most significant historic structures are the Hero of Waterloo Inn, the Sydney Observatory, Cadman’s Cottage, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Merchants’ House, Garrison Church and Susannah Place.

Huge, attractive and multicultural Australia has everything on its lap to offer something to people around the world. The more we say, the less it will be about Australia. This huge country has many small islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans and also has the island of Tasmania with the mainland of the Australian Continent. The neighbouring countries of Australia are Indonesia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea towards the northern direction, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia towards northeast direction and New Zealand to the southeastern side.

All the state capitals like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide improve the glory of Australia to such an extent that this country stands distinct from the rest in the entire world. Millions of attractions could be found in Australia which is rich in plenty of its features that cannot be compared with the others. Just fly to Australia and see through your own eyes that you have never thought of. Go to any remote corner of Australia, and it will offer you something very special and awesome.

As this is a developed country, you will get multicultural society, quality of life, health care, education, economic freedom, protection of civil liberties, political rights and many other developments. In terms of cultural offerings, the cities of Australia ranked one of the worlds highest and also in the quality of life. Australia, this name was originated from the Latin australis which means southern. The use of Australia in the English language was first recorded in the year 1625. This name was popularized further by Matthew Flinders in the early 1804 so that it should be officially adopted. This country was sometimes locally and internationally referred to as Oz and the name Australia was finally pronounced from the early 20th century.

The early inhabitation was started prior between the 42,000 and 48,000 years. The ancestors of Australia might reach here through the land bridges and short sea crossings which are today recognized as Southeast Asia. Almost all the people in Australia earlier were the hunters and gatherers by following norms of spirituality. If we date back to the history of Australia, it could be said that the long area covers a long and unending history. The gold rush, separate colonies to label as an independent state and many other tragedies are included in the history of Australia.

Australia is the sixth major country as per its total area and is the world’s smallest continent. The landmass of Australia has 7,617,930 square kilometers and this country was being divided from Asia by the Arafura Sea and also the Timor Sea. It could also be considered as the world’s major island. The coastline of Australia has 34,218 kilometres and the wide Exclusive Economic Zone covers 8,148,250 square kilometers without including the Australian Antarctic Territory.

Australia has so much of attractions that are the major and the only on the top list of the world. The Great Barrier Reef which is the pride of Australia is the world’s largest coral reef and is located at a short distance off the northeast coast with 2,000 kilometres of area. Mount Augustus is the world’s major monolith and could be found in the Western Australia. Mount Kosciuszko on the Great Dividing Range is the tallest mountain on the Australian mainland. Still this is not at all enough. You will get many other natural attractions in Australia that are among the majors in the world.

The official language that is spoken in Australia is English and there is no particular state religion. Australia has semi-arid or deserted climate to most of its regions. It has various locales from alpine to tropical rainforests and hence this country is considered as a megadiverse country. Percentage wise, Australia has some 85 percent of flowering plants, 84 percent mammals, over 45 percent of birds and 89 percent of in-shore. The temperate zone fish in Australia is widespread. This country has a largest number of reptiles as compared to other countries in the world with 755 species of it.

To see the best attractions of Australia go right at the heart of this country and experience the iconic rock monolith called Uluru, then near to the Queensland coast the Great Barrier Reef is one more attraction rich with many coral beach islands, and then how one could forget the architectural wonder of Australia which is the image of this country Sydney’. The Sydney Opera House is the major attraction of Australia. And also the Sydney Harbour Bridge is another attraction that is worth visiting.

Other attractions of Australia from the northern territory towards Canberra are Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Katherine Gorge where you can explore the rainforests, crocodiles and other wildlife.
Abel Tasman National Park:

This is the most renowned national park which experiences visits of large number of crowds. Lying at the coastal area, it is easily accessible and sprawls to an extensive range towards the northern end ranging in marble and limestone hills enlarging from Kahurangi National Park. The interiors of park are honeycombed with caves and potholes. There are various trails lined up in the park, one of them is an inland route, even though the Coast track is one of the favorites which brings in flocks of tourists.

Auckland:

The city of volcanoes, with ridges of lava flows forms its own main path. Most of its cones render islands of green within the sea of suburbs. As it is the largest city, it is rich in culture and a cosmopolitan city in New Zealand. There is a massive Asian community that rubs its shoulders with the biggest Polynesian population of any city of the world.

The native kiwi’s ambitions to discover an autonomous house on a quarter acre section has triggered even much better results and created a sprawling grandeur city. The CBD has been long ago discarded for commercial purposes and inner-city apartment living has caught up. As the geographical land has been promising, there are no restrictions over construction, which has left the heart of city with architectural shame. If you want to explore the beautiful facet, then tour in the rows of Victorian and Edwardian villas located in its inner-city suburbs.

Fox glacier:

Crowned the name after ‘Sir William Fox’, New Zealand’s Prime Minister in 1872, this frozen snow land is worth a visit, even if you have glanced the scenic Franz Josef Glacier. Roam alongside the fascinating lake Matheson and get lost in the mesmerizing glacier linked attractions like glacier walks. Or simply, grab fun by watching flights and tourists wearing thermals.

Raglan:

This enchanting spot is popular for its surfing adventures; it is tiny enough to evade the mass development, possibly because the kiwis choose to have a secured white sand east coast beaches. However, don’t worry it is big enough and affords lot of retreating activities. Also, the key attractions like good eateries and bars allure some well-known summer bands. It is perched to the south of the Raglan Harbor (Whaingaroa), and the alongside beaches brings in flocks of international tourists that come for taking breaks from the hustle bustle of the routine lives. The legendary flick of 1964 featuring Bruce Brown named ‘The endless summer’ was shot in Manu Bay. Also, the harbor is exciting as it offers for adventurous activities like kayaking and swimming. This city is famed to be the best looking city of New Zealand. Come visit here, as it is the perfect exotica and possesses the lovely charm which will certainly compel you to reshuffle your programs as you will crave for a long stay over here.

New Zealand’s fervent passion is rugby, and they have captured the historical and victorious track of rugby over 74%. However, the appreciated team of ‘All Blacks’ lost the shining glory of winning the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. All Blacks have been the burning sensations in the year 2007, but toppled under constant quarter-final pressure from the French team. Mistakes, wrong decision-making and atrocious umpiring together combined and lead to a 20-18 defeat. All the nation’s inhabitants were thunderstruck and just wept over the streets. Media’s appalling acts i.e. character assailments led to extensive sackings. The kiwis got distressed after this shameful loss. After this embarrassing shame, the team has geared up its socks with great determination to restore the prestige back to its land in 2011.

Under the rule of Prime Minister Helen Clark’s leadership, the country maintained its pacifist, anti-nuclear policy and retained the possession of New Zealand’s troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, the country is treading firmly on the affluent track as it possesses thriving art forms and the domestic front continues to be cheerful. Even, unemployment has not been pestering issue to anyone. The ongoing effect of a 2006 minimum wage rise has led to a pricking increase in the goods and services cost. Travelers have been enduring the swelling prices of accommodation, food and transportation costs which means New Zealand is far from being a budget destination.

New Zealand’s real estate prosperity persists to win the hearts of sellers and irks the buyers because of the escalating rates. However, elevating house prices have stabilized with the elevating interest rates, but the wages seem to be lowering in these rising trends. Because of this, Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington have tracked in the world’s most expensive cities in terms of housing affordability in relation to income.

Other issues which are mounting kiwi’s irritating charts are fixed-net fishing which is posing a threat for the lives of dolphins, exasperating treaty settlements and didymo a.k.a. ‘rock snot’ influx in rivers and lakes. You won’t get anyone fighting on petrol prices…

Now you have come to know the contemporary New Zealand concisely, but believe me excursion in New Zealand will mark its memories in your heart and stay cherished for a lifetime. Get out of your hustling fast pacer lives and enter this world-class location where you will come across beautiful locations, chick lifestyle and top-notch cuisines, wine and beer. And the most alluring eye-candy of New Zealand is its natural ambiance which is a peerless, magnificent and perfect beauty. The scenic view of this landscape is mesmerizing; don’t forget to capture this photogenic beauty.

New Zealand is a cherishing destination with a dashing start that turns the entire day wonderful. Starting the day with ‘Aotearoa’ which is small, isolated and sparsely populated, it presents awesome scenic views, has some great festivals, and offers scrumptious delicacies and wine. Outdoor experiences in New Zealand just grants a fantasy land feeling. Also, the conventional and intoxicating Maori culture is inspiring and leaves one mesmerized. New Zealand is a land that completely recognizes its innate populace and sees to their needs and desires, the world that settles here is a better place to live with mild, affection and respect. While the fan following developed after the Lord of the Rings trio is diminishing, still the charm of bizarre New Zealand seems to be alive passionately.

The year 2007 experienced an inundation of nearly 2.2 million tourists, who wandered, viewed, dined in the country. The escalating level was tremendous as it saw a rise of almost 40% from a comparatively low 1.6 million in the year 1999. But all these didn’t actually prove to be beneficial as the country’s renowned characteristics lost its charm because of surge of large number of tourists. Popular for its sensitive conservation of the eco-system and perseverance of cleanliness, all this got infected because of the wilderness passion of the tourists who just do not take care while dealing with nature.

The horizon above the Franz Josef Glacier hums with repetitive air flights, tourists cleanse down under the brooks and little negligence by its inhabitants developed because the tourists’ large crowds has worked negatively and spoiled New Zealand’s scenic beauty. Therefore to put an end to all this exploitation, Department of Conservation (DOC) imposed a booking system in its Great Walks. There are nine tracks amidst which few of them are Milford Track, Abel Tasman Coast Track and Routeburn Track. Virtual advantages of this implementation are that it will lessen overcrowding and the most significant that it will lessen the destruction triggered over the environment.

The New Zealand Tourism Sector is thriving apparently what is visible to us now, shows that they are endeavoring efforts for the benefit of ecological system. The eateries, locals, farmers sell local produced stuff which hints towards a sustainable model. However, the professional environmentalist’s views contradict the above point as they enter into a moot point that the industry and government are not moving fast enough to serve environment. And the drought and climate change accelerate their allegations.

Moving towards the country’s art forms, its live music is exhilarating which comprises of various music forms like dub, hip-hop, rock and reggae. However, its radio remains to be abysmal. Culturally, debate takes a kick-off between two sections of the society i.e. pro and anti arts lobbies. One section sees it with complete disgust as if they would destroy an art gallery if found open and another sees it as a symbol of cultural celebration for community and tourism. If you would turn towards me for my views, I would support it as it manifests the country’s culture and perspective and is an essential aspect that holds charm to allure the tourists.

New Zealand…what comes to your mind when you think about this destination? Let’s be truthful, it inspires to backpack the stuff and voyaging there instantly. Its exotic picturesque views overcome the mind and call for a tour. New Zealand is popular for bestowing the best panoramic views of the surrounding locales. Apart from its positive features, it has also gained popularity as Middle Earth as the triad movie “The Lord Of Rings” has been shot in some of the breath-taking locations of this awesome country. The South Island of New Zealand outlooks a bird’s eye view of the natural ecstasy like undulating snow-covered mountains and the blue lakes. It nurtures eclectic natural wonders, but I have chosen seven amazing lakes that add more dazzle to its beauty.

Lake Wakatipu:

Placed in the royal town of ‘Queenstown’ in New Zealand, Lake Wakatipu stretches to elongation of 291 square kilometers in terms of area and is 80 kilometers in length. Affording a postcard view, it is truly the most striking and magnificent beauty that New Zealand possesses. Lake Wakatipu shelters three towns on its shores, the fortunate towns are Queenstown, Glenorchy and Kingston. Truly, aren’t they lucky enough that they get to reside besides the longest Lake of New Zealand? Also, above the southern end of the lake lies the fabulous mountain range tower. The Lake Wakatipu is an enthralling multi-treat for the eye sight which offers scenic view of the mountain ranges. Take a swim in the waters for calming your exhausted body or simply play with water.

Lake Tekapo:

Settling in the hub of Mackenzie country, this is a spectacular marvel with exceptional view. This lake grants a superb turquoise-blue look and this lake derives enchanting characteristic from the mountains that bring in minerals through trails of glaciers. As this lake is glacier fed, all the essence flows in from the side-by Mountains. By the southern side of the lake, exist a settlement community of Lake Tekapo. This township is worth a visit, not just because it lies besides the beautiful lake, but also because the town shelters a church called as “Church of Good Shepherd” which grants breath taking views of the lake. This photogenic spot has also become a great location for weddings or other social celebrations.

You can find the ‘Mount Johns Observatory’ nearby Lake Tekapo; one gets a glimpse of spell-binding superb sights of zenith. It facilitates for a soothing view of the twinkling stars and Aurora Austris i.e. southern lights, on bright and clear evenings especially during the winters. So make sure, that you come here for spending relieved winter holidays.

Lake Wanaka:

Enclosed by undulating mountain ranges, Lake Wanaka is the fourth largest lake of New Zealand and sits calmly in the Otago region. It came into limelight when Tom Cruise cited about this lake in the flick “Mission Impossible 3.” Also, the recreational Mount Aspiring National Park lies in the neighborhood of Lake Wanaka.

The town of Wanaka lies by the southern side of the Lake Wanaka. This is a perfect town for the ever-struggling individuals who run in the fast pacer life. This small town is paradise for quaint-seekers who desire serenity and positive resonances from their inner selves. Also, this enticing town is fast emerging in the eyes of the masses and rapidly experiencing tourists because of its positive traits. Perhaps, in the next few years, it may occupy the spot of Queenstown as every visitor is charmed by the town’s influential magnetism which makes it over crowded. So, people rebound to the town of Wanaka for a 2-hour drive, seeking gentle calmness.

Lake Matheson:

Placed in the west coast of Southern Islands of New Zealand, this lake affords some superb views and gives a comprehensible mirror image of Mt. Cook, which possesses the cachet of being the highest mountain of Australasia. In addition, it even bequeaths picturesque view, but fortune is not always in a generous mood of providing the scenic view easily. Due to the west coast monsoon weather, it actually becomes vexed condition to catch the stunning view. Yet, if you are earnestly eager for getting a glance and can afford to wait, so do that, because you can grab a magnificent sight to behold, just like it is printed on a postcard scenic preview and you will remember it for your lifetime.

This lake can be approached by the town Fox Glacier, which is located on the west coast; also an easy 15-minutes drive will give you a trouble-free way to the lake.

Lake Pukaki:

If you are a true adventure seeker who finds fun in the escapades and looking forward for some great adventure ahead, then you should certainly try fun the trails of Tasmania. Just take a chance over the fun activities like fast packing or trail running, in Tasmania, Australian island state. This island is a frolicsome place and is a sprawling beauty which offers refuge to 19 national parks. This land bestows diversity in its weather, places and activities and is a comprehensive package in itself.

In fact, Tassie is the place which is probably the best striking region in the whole of southern hemisphere for multi day hiking or even for day hiking. The weather here is capricious and can change with a blink of the eye, and you may find a totally new atmosphere and feel that you might have landed in a totally new place. In summer, you may find pleasure of bone chilling cold or even probably the clouds may rain. This is what I have experienced during my visit, and let me inform you that the weather here is weird. Before visiting this location, don’t forget to pack multi-seasons clothing in your luggage.

The Tasmanian park service has variety of packages for its tourists. At the Cradle Mountain, this bus service offers a bus service after every 10 minutes from outside the parking lot. If you don’t feel like tramping the mountains, then you have another exciting option, just move leisurely along the paved environment. This is very straight and even wheelchair friendly. And moreover, Tassie also proffers skiing option for the tourists in the winter season. Isn’t it a fun for everyone, just as I said before multi-packages for each one.

To the north of Antarctic Circle, around 1900 miles is located Central Tasmania. That is the distance between El Paso and Washington. Smart hikers equip themselves with extra gear which does come in handy sometimes. If you come to Tassie, make sure you enjoy the odyssey up the regular trail to Mt Wellington, overlooking Hobart. At the top, you will find yourself on the top of the world when you will find the marvelous panoramic view. Also to enjoy things to the fullest, don’t forget to pack several layers and survival gear. However, you don’t need to carry a fast hiking tent, because you will have a base tent like a hut.

This will indeed leave a remark of a memorable journey in your mind and you will be tempted to visit this place again and again.
